My 72 nikasil bore with 6.9 primary gears probably gets pretty darn close but really loses power up hills- I have an aftermarket speedo but I have not installed it yet but it buries the needle on the stock cluster pretty well.

The manuals are posted on this site-
Check under the tech section there should be a picture in the ch150 manual.

Re: Scooter Fuel Injection Kit
The system needs 60 watts of power to keep it going. I kinda doubt if the charging system would be able to keep up. You can buy a lot of jets for 400 dollars. If the system had enough sensors and could learn .... would be cool. Yeah, 5A continuous might not be doable. However, Honda Metropolitans s...

Re: Scooter Fuel Injection Kit
The $400 base price is reasonable and it would sure solve a myriad of tuning issues that the BBK create. Just get the optional oxygen sensor and you would have it tuned in 1/2 an hour. Bear, Have you ever used an O2 sensor on a two-stroke? Not sure if the kit uses a narrow band or wide band O2 but ...

Scooter Fuel Injection Kit
Has anyone seen this-

Looks like a pretty complete kit. Not sure the injector flow rates are right for two-stroke but still would be the ultimate in tunability...

Re: Why Disable OKO 24 Power Jet?
I'm not an expert tuner, that's why I'm here asking questions. Is that thing tuned for good response across the rev range or is that drag race oriented (i.e. WOT is the only concern)? Two completely different animals as I'm sure you're aware. Were there power jets on that? I've never heard a six cyl...

Re: Why Disable OKO 24 Power Jet?
Bear, We're not talking about dial-a-jets. I made that analogy but it was not correct. Dial-a-jets work across the entire rev range and therefore are good for across the board adjustment for situations like large ambient temperature changes and large elevation changes. The power jet supposedly only ...

Re: Why Disable OKO 24 Power Jet?
I am an engineer- I don't believe in myths. Empirical evidence is much more convincing. Read what I said in previous posts- So a having college education allows you to believe crap that can not happen because physics says it can't! Obviously you must have slept thru physics and fluid dynamics porti...

Re: Why Disable OKO 24 Power Jet?
You guys are blaming the power jet for your lack of understanding how carbs and the power jet work. Then you would rather live in ignorance than learn something new because the easy way out is easier for you to swallow. More people might be inclined to listen to you if you did not act like a...

Re: Why Disable OKO 24 Power Jet?
Greetings: The PartsDude at Deepinnaharta Honda looked in the Hot Parts catalog. No evidence there that the PJ exists in Keihinland. Maybe it's an OKO evolution? I would consult the Jedi Masters at Mikuni- they seem to be the power jet gurus. This page: http://www.motorcyclecarbs.com/About_Mikuni_T...

Re: Why Disable OKO 24 Power Jet?
Greetings: Perhaps if the insert is removable, measurement of the existing metering hole and brazing it in to re-size? I just took a look at the power jet on the OKO- there is a small brass cap threaded over the hole and what looks to be a tiny jet inside- the whole jet is much smaller in diameter ...

Re: Why Disable OKO 24 Power Jet?
I have not had much luck in finding different sized power jets- everyone has power jet "kits" but that is the whole assembly- jet, holder, fuel line etc.
Interested to see if someone can come up with a source for power jets.

Re: Why Disable OKO 24 Power Jet?
Bear that is what I am saying- it does not actively lean anything. It can mask a lean midrange (wrong needle taper etc.) or a badly sized main jet. -Nathan No, it can't mask anything and the needle will be less effective in it's ability to restrict fuel flow (lean out the engine) in the mid range b...

Re: Why Disable OKO 24 Power Jet?
OK, I'm still having a problem here with this supposed leaning out in the mid-range stuff. Basically HOW? If this power jet works just like the Dial-a-jet, once it comes on line and starts flowing fuel, it stays on line until the air flow thru the carb drops below the level required to pull fuel th...
