Later Guys
All, I would like to say I have really enjoyed this forum but sadly I can't. There is a sociopathic individual on this board who makes visiting unbearable. This person lives to drum up strife and conflict and injects his discontent into every post from every member. I for one am sick and tired of it...

Re: Help with 28mm OKO Throttle Cable Please
Installed a brand new 28mm OKO carb today, CT manifold and Korso air filter. Installed new throttle cable and routed it correctly. Hooked the end of the cable in to the carb throttle body but can't seem to make it stay attached. Scooter will start and idle fine, can pull some throttle to rev on the...

Re: 1986 Elite ch 150 not running
I forgot to say ... THE intake boot has severe CRACKS in it , its almost broken in half . I should have said this at the time i posted i said i cleaned the carb. The main vacuum line goes to the top of the carb hits a T shape thingy and 4more inches of the vacuum line then goes right into the intak...

Re: 1986 Elite ch 150 not running
There is a vacuum petcock under the gas tank- it may be bad. There should be a vacuum hose connected from the petcock to the vacuum port on the manifold the carb is mounted to- check to make sure it is connected. One way to test the vacuum petcock is remove the gas line from the carb and apply vacuu...

Keeway Hurricane
Anyone know anything about Keeway scooters-
I could probably get a Keeway hurrican for 3 bills that someone has for sale. What type of motor do they have? Horizontal Minarelli?
Thanks for any info,
Nathan

Re: Flash 4.2: The Break-In Break-Out
I think Dial-A-Jet is exactly what you need. They make a really cool version that has an adjuster that mounts on the handle bars so you can tweak the mixture while you are riding so you dont have to crawl around on the ground and tweak the DAJ with a screw driver. That said I got a set of three dial...

Re: sad day
Looked like a CFMOTO V3 (or QlLINK Sapporo same bike). They use a clone of the honda CH250. I actually really like them. You pretty much destroyed him from a roll but he would pass you eventually. Top speed on one of those is like 75-80 mph.

Re: Blasphemy- CH250 Motor into Elite 50
Anyone have a decent seat bucket for a 1999 Elite? If I attempt the CH250 swap I will need to hack up the seat bucket a little to fit the taller CH250. I would like to have a spare available in case I want to go back to stock.
Thanks,
Nathan

Re: Rattling sound
It should not be sitting on the frame like that. I had the same problem. You need to loosen the motor mount bolts, raise it up off the frame and tighten the mount bolts back up.

Morphous
Not to threadjack, but Nathan, my bike that I just purchased is a Yamaha Morphous too. It's being shipped in a metal crate from the dealer to a hub near my house. Sweet- I have already completed a 400cc engine swap from a Yamaha Majesty- see it running here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_EOI3Ej-y...
