did a compression test only got 60 psi. put oil down the cylinder and got 120psi. then it kept going back down from there. any suggestions on what to change. i don not have the tools to measure piston or cylinder. by the way its a 85 spree.

well got he new used carb in today got it running have to use throttle to start it. idle screw still alomost all the way in to get it to idle. rode all over the golf course starting and stopping no problems. i get home shut it off and wont start until it cools off. got to get a compression test this...

to get it started i have to give it at least half throttle. ill find out in a couple days when my parts get here. but i hate to be just a parts changer. to many of those hacks in my field of work.

could this cause it not to idle. when my motor dies sounds like clutch making noise.

can the clutch springs wear out

ineed it the brass part seperated from the plastic and needle and spring are loose

a spare would be cool. let me know on price. tried with carb cleaner need to check the small passages again. thanks all

thanks when i cleaned the carb the auto bystarer looked like it fell apart spring an needle fell out. i re clean it and let it soak in chem dip. but the gaskets look really bad. thanks

just got a 85 50 spree and an 85 50 areo. read all the tech docs finally got the spree running found that i had a bad cdi. i used the one from the areo just wandering if that is compatible. cleaned the carb by guide. the spree will start only if i give it alot of throttle at starting.it wont stay id...
