how can you tell they were using cheap oil. i just want to know what to look for. i agree with you about cheap oil.

it was a freebie to me, rode good and had good compression just trying to help out him out. you say someone way using cheap oil because of the carbon build up Bear? the odometer only had 1,500 miles on it.

yeah, i thought the new cable was a direct replacement too. but i had to make it work.

yes thats correct. the new cable will just rest in the cap. the new cable doesnt fit like factory cable.

if you look from the topside, there is a clip holding the cable in the cap. its pretty hard to get it apart. i used a paper clip forced in the groove, using a rotating force and it popped apart. its not really made to come apart.
