Well, your problem could be that you are hand tightening the plug. Good way to mess up the threads in the plug hole, too, if it tears the last couple threads out when it comes out.

I biked up to my grandpa's junkpile up the road, and got a chunk of scrap conduit, but it was too small. I think I'll buy some 1" conduit.

Ok. Here's my thought, now. I just pulled up a pic of a spree exhaust, and it was the big kind (like in the pic in the original post). So, I got to thinking, Honda slowed down the Iowa's by putting the washer in the end of that larger exhaust. Is it possible that the SE50's exhaust is the same size ...

I'm thinking about putting a pocketbike exaust on my SE50. I put one on my Ciao, and gained about 7 MPH. My elite is going 25-26 right now, with shaved head, larger tip on the exhaust, UNI filter, upjetted carb, etc.

My SE50P is slow. When I got it, it went 25-26. I upjetted, put a larger tip on the exhaust, milled the head, and cleaned all the carbon out of the exhaust port. Still goes 25-26. No washer in the header, and I pulled the restrictor off the back of the variator.

Sachs Madass/Xkeleton Trickster?

Anybody own a Sachs Madass or Xkeleton Trickster (Trickster is the same, costs about $1k less). 4 speed clutch manual or auto, 50cc. 4 stroke. Honda knock off engine, a 110cc honda knockoff can be swapped in very easily (apparantly, 3 bolts, a few plugs, the fuel line, cables, and the chain are all ...

Gettin' my old rat Elite titled...

Been awhile since I've posted here. Been hanging out on Mopedarmy, tdiclub.com (just bought an '82 VW Rabbit diesel). Anyway, I'm going to go get a title for my '87 elite. Been wanting to drive that thing legally on the street for a while. I shaved the head on it with a concrete block. :D Plan to pu...

I run nothing buy Amsoil in my dirtbike. Good oil, I like it. Doesn't stink like cheap oil when it burns, either.

The Bayou's alright. You can see part of it in the pics. I broke a spindle when I was riding it really hard, and that was scary (tire came flying off). But, I really should have been on a bike. Too much for that little thing. It's rough; no suspension in back. But, runs like a champ, starts great, 1...

New toy... (lots of pics of it)

Here's my new bike. '84 Yamaha IT200 2 stroke. Basically a YZ125 engine from the '80s with a 200 bore and 6sp tranny. Great suspension. DG pipe. I think it makes near 30 horsepower. 210lb dry. Fast and light! Runs great. I got it for $700. What do you think of it? (also, last 2 pics are before...

Hate to say it, buy I wish I had a tank. Beats my rat scoot SE50. Almost wiped out on that thing again on a turn in the yard. I lost count of how many times I crashed that thing.

Oh. It was an afterthought that it might be an old RM engine, since I noted it was air cooled. Figured it was an old TS250 or TC250 engine, since a lot of them are out there.
