Re: So now that it's running . . .

if you want a knobby tire like a dirt bike you can get one for a honda xr50, thats what videonut uses on his spree he says he loves it. try them out. I'm afraid that would be too aggressive for street riding (pm'd videonut) . . . ? I would love to find something like this http://www.monsterscooterp...

Re: So now that it's running . . .

Re: Hello, noob checking in

I do have a oil soaked then 'ringed' out piece of 1/4" foam in it now but have Honda part ordered. Now to let the kiddo's brutalize it for a while (and me too!) then maybe some mods . . .

My problem is fixed for the time being. I replaced the plug and put the airbox back on, no more bogging.

OP: Have you come upon the solution yet? I have the same problem, haha. Guess, I'll stick the carb back in the cleaner and get some guitar string and report back.

Re: Hello, noob checking in

Yep, got it running last night (cleaned carb/plug). It still needs work, it's starving for fuel now. I'm going to drain the tank and pull the petcock and clean the filter and try it again. Here's some pics from yesterday. http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh38/07yzfr1/DSC_5232800x600.jpg http://i25...
