sounds like it's lean, and you may need to clean the carb. does it have the air filter?

speaking of all of this compression, when i first got my spree i oiled the cylinder to prevent it from seizing. have you made sure the transmission has oil? the very rear of it, there's a bolt a couple inches up from the bottom. the oil level should be just below the bolt

yeah, stock pipe fit's. it's just a bored out oem stock cylinder to my knowledge.
