Hmm well i picked her up for 250.00 and runs fine. needs minor work, but it already comes with the af05e engine. hmmm i'm going to pull the kicker to check for a cvt

might buy a spree in the morning. motor question

So doing a little reading on the spree I came across the following website http://www.motorscooterguide.net/page1/page7/page7.html It says that the NQ/05 engine does not have a CVT. So i'm like *. Right? So I want to know what kind of fabrication is need for the rear mount to accept a AF05E / AF16E ...

kick start spring -any tips and tricks

so while working on the buddies we took off the kick start and the spring went flying off. we had a pain in the * to have the spring loaded so the kick start would work correctly. is there any tips and tricks to doing this?

i've seen some of the ruckus guys remove the kick start. i've always that, that was a terrible idea.

Hmmm not afraid to damage the inner bearing race, where it sits into the case? i was thinking of building another tool to press it out. i'd hate to destroy my only case. my idea was to do the socket idea and use a huge c-clamp to force it out, and on the opposite side have a peace of 1/2 flat steel ...

got the crank out of the other side, peace of cake. I got 2 sets of 2x4's and rested the case on them with the opened side of the crank down, and placed a 3lb sledge hammer on the nut bolted to the crank. Then gave it a good wack thus sending a nice shock sending the crank out of the other half. i'l...

what did you do to split the case? i'm having a * of a time getting the variator side out? The alternator side of the case came off simple with my home made puller.

everyone should think about doing a group buy. I don't think it would be hard to fiberglass the top of the head scooters head unit and flush it in. Make it look factory.

LOL! I should have said "PUSH START BUTTON" LOL! Pushing starting the bike would be something else. I don't even think it would work. Is it possible? The engine uses the CVT and isn't really in gear like a transmission, to where you can pop start it.

The * with one night, i could make use of the back of my truck for once. I've always wondered what the purpose of the tail gate was for, and now i know. Portable work bench. =)
