Spree Reed Valve Mod...Anybody done it?
I have heard that you can do something to the reed valve to get a little more bottom end out of the old spree. Has anybody done this mod, and what do you do? I am always trying to get a little more ummpf out of this sucker.

Launch is better with the timing advanced for sure, but still nothing to brag about, but at least it will go on it's own power without a push like before right after I did the pully mod. Right now the bike runs great after about a 5 min warm up period, and 10 mph - 38mph is super fun, plenty of pick...

Shave .02 off head, advance the timing, larger main jet, adjust pilot needle circlip, free flow air filter. After all that's done do the pulley mod, and you won't lose any low end. Use a 4 in beltsander to shave the head, need new headgasket $5.00 Pull the ignition pickup from behind the fan, oval t...

Leo Vince Clutch Springs for a Spree
I had read on here that somebody purchased some red Leo Vince clutch springs for a Honda spree to make the clutch engage later (better takeoff), but I called the number that was listed 510-232-4040, and they could not find them in their catalogue. They also stated that they did not carry any parts e...

Is there ANY way to advance timing on a spree?
Hey guys, I really think that I need to advance the timing on my spree. The mods I got so far are, a custom expansion chamber exhaust I welded up, K&N chevy breather air filter, rejetted to 78, pully mod, shaved .02-.025 off head. I just installed the head, and now it sounds like the engine is p...

Does anybody else think that the leaf blower charger would possibly work? I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a way to get the fueling down. They only produce 2-3 psi max, so I don't think that would blow up the motor, but it would be funnier than * to see it done. I'm going to be purc...

Well, I got my exhaust all welded up and am now hitting 36-37 mph. Didn't rejet, didn't do anything with the air intake. I am extremely happy. If anybody can post pictures on this site, let me know. My exhaust is baddddd assssss, way nicer than anything else I've seen anybody else build (my opinion)...
