Re: honda elite 2001 wont start
Your logic for not doing a compression check is totally flawed. If the compression is bad, cleaning the carb even one time is a waste of time and effort. No matter what you do, if the compression is bad, the engine will never run. No. You are being Bearish again. By cleaning the carb you can fix a ...

Re: honda elite 2001 wont start
I wouldn't even worry about a compression check unless you have the tools readily available. The carb needs to be cleaned (4 times minimum  ) and you have to get all of the buildup and crap out of the float bowl, needle, jet, and jet tube. I even think it was Bear who kept telling me to re-cl...

Re: Anyone know the value of 1986 Honda Spree?
I purchased a *complete and running* honda spree for 100 dollars. It needed new tires and the carb to be properly adjusted.
I was offered 400 dollars for the same scooter after new tires were put on.
I value mine somewhere between 150 dollars and 400 dollars.

Re: Honda Spree Hitch Hauler
Needed a custom cover for when I tote the Spree so decided to stitch one up. Wonder if there is any market for them, now that I have a pattern? Well... How much do you want for a cover? I'd be eager to buy one at 35 dollars. Hesitant but willing at 50, and unwilling at anything over 50. Do you have...

will Aero/Elite 125/150 wheels bolt to an Aero 50?
that's all
I got my Aero 50 running, but the wheel is severely out of balance and may be bent pretty badly.

higher octane fuel produces less usable power. the only time to up the octane of your fuel is if you are running a stoichiometric mix and experiencing detonation.

Re: rattle can paint help(colours)
dupli color sucks. the (same) color varies wildly from can to can, and it is not a catalyzed paint, so the first time you splash a little gas on it you are going to see your paint going away.

I just know there would be no way for me to defend myself if the wife saw me use the dishwasher to clean parts from a scooter :nervous: The warden has to go out sometime... besides, it's your dishwasher, too. Marriage is about compromises, all these years you never put an exhaust in the dishwasher, ...
