Im looking at a parts dio af18 scooter, but if its alot of fab/welding work im not really interested a...

Re: NEW TOY! '85 Honda Aero 50 for 100 bucks!
good investing! id love to find a parts scooter for 100! replacing the airbox is a must if you dont want to fry the piston, but IF you can find a pod-style filter small enough for the stock carb; go for it, just up-Jet the carb and u wont run lean. I think you might be able to find stock airbox on e...

If you have any questions about what rollers to use with it i suggest
sending this guy an email.
I had stock dio with gears when I was 15 and it was very able to get the speedo needle
past 70km, but not much more.

Re: spark plug question on numbers
The only difference between the BPR4HS and BPR4HSA plugs is one of them will have a small washer on the plug, the other will not. Thats what the A means on it. I switched to the number 4 plug from the number 6 on my aero when temperatures were hovering around 5 degrees Celcius/ or 40 degress F. I go...

Re: Aero gear swap
IF im not mistaken, anything 2.75 or 3.00-10 is still classified as J-type tire and "should" be good for speeds up to 100km/62mph. That being said, I dont think id feel too comfortable with the stock tire above 50mph myself. 3.00 or 90/90 seems like best for gear mod. I personally am going...

Re: Aero Reed Valve Upgrades?
By browsing some euro websites, I found that Polini makes a reed valve cage that would fit af05e, and changes the stock, 2-petal design into the updated 3-petal later model style, making availability easier.... https://www.pmtuning.co.uk/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PT&Produ...

Aero Reed Valve Upgrades?
Anyone know if there are reed valves for the dio or elite that will fit onto my 86 Aero NB50? I believe the shape is different but im not entirely sure if i would need a new reed block to hold them and if that would even match my intake mani. let alone if theres even any available. Also, since im ne...
