Re: throttle problem
ok 94-01 honda elite sr. has 7000 miles on it. a jiangwayne v8 pipe is on. a racing variator has been put in. a new power-gates belt a thousand miles ago, and it still seems fine. stock roller weights, cause i bought 7 grams and couldn't go over 45. way to revvy and i don't think it shifted. it shif...

Re: throttle problem
so i put a 100 main jet in it. and it's backfiring. still had the same problem pulling the hill i go up a lot. it seems on the hill, with any stress, the engine, loses all it's torque, no matter what the rpm is and it's pretty high. if the hills too much torque for it, it's a lot of rpm for it to lo...

Re: throttle problem
i ordered one when i got my exhaust from jiangwayne. it's strainer kind, metal, and it's oval, like an egg except for the top. it was laying sideways, and the fuel lines where level with each other and i got less gas in it, and when going uphill, it would have just a little trickle of gas going in i...

Re: throttle problem
ok, i done a plug chop. finally 1/2 mile exactly and killed the engine. kept it full throttle and didn't let off. the well i didn't have a camera, i had to find a straight stretch, and no traffic, and got a new spark plug, so it'd be clean. and i needed another one anyway. so here's a picture i draw...

Re: ZX trans how-to
if you put it together you'd figure it out. the zx belt, would go over the top of the front pulleys, not able to go down in it. sorry to make you read all that if you know everything, but how is it any different than Trafficjamz wrote: The boss is longer, so the belt can fit all the way down (furth...

if you put it together you'd figure it out. the zx belt, would go over the top of the front pulleys, not able to go down in it. there you go i did put your answer as to what would happen. i wrote everything on how it goes. as for insight, the whole description, and how the thing works altogether, s...

Re: ZX trans how-to
becasue it pushes the variator ramped part, against the ramp plate, and the front gear pulley starter thing. it sits there. belt rides on one side. when it shifts down, it needs to go to the bottom. you can't put any other belt on the zx rear pulley except for one that is 18mm wide. you can, but it ...

Re: UNI Filter
where do you look at for the burnt or oily spark plug. the middle looks lean. the oil on the side looks rich, or just unburnt. 88-90 would be rich.

Re: throttle problem
i didn't chop it at half throttle. i went full throttle for almost a 1/2 mile. before 200 yards before i got to my place, i had to go around a curve and i couldn't keep it floored, so for about 50 feet i let the throttle down to half, then for another 200 yards full throttle, then i got to my place,...

Re: What jet size for Uni filter? (SA50 stock)
mine kind of twists back and forth. try grabbing it and twisting it and pushing or pulling on it to get it to come out or go in further. if you have 94-01 elite it should.

Re: What jet size for Uni filter? (SA50 stock)
what really holds that airbox on is the two screws. i lost one, and my aibox got knocked sideways one day and probably rode a mile with the snorkel coming from the airbox half off the carburetor. if it's got both screws in it, to keep it straight and it's not going on there, do you have a washer beh...
