Re: martynkim

Just got an order from marty in about two days, all the way across the country!

Parts were correct, not cleaned (as were pulled is ALWAYS better) and very reasonable.

Hope he has more parts, mine still has a bit of trouble!

Spree Values?

OK, Got the 87 running good, new tires, tubes, belt, battery and such. All works as new, seat is pristine small scratching on left side cover with part of decal peeling, 2300 miles. Since it won't carry my fat butt, it is time to let it leave the nest! Actually was my intention all along though. It ...

Re: Fuel leak......new part.

The leak is coming out the overflow from what I can tell.....but not out of the overflow tube like I thought it would......it's on the bottom ...

What is a Spree size? [Ed: Load Capacity]

Got the 87 running pretty good now. Carb has started to leak out of the bowl vent, so new needle is in order. Anyway, I've been letting the kids/wife scoot around on it and it seems fine, but it tends to bog down and complain when I ride. Just how big is too big for this thing? I know 6'3" 290 ...

Re: Electric starter work?

Hey yobamba, Pay particular attention to #2 in mousewheels post! I also fought that one for a couple of hours before I figured it out! I could have just read the owners manual I got with mine, but no, not me! If the relay turns out to be bad, a Ford fuel pump or AC clutch relay and 4 short jumper wi...

Another poor runner!

87 Spree, this is my first one. Got it complete and cheap ($100.00) put new battery, belt and tires on it and it looks near new. Carb was filled with two stroke oil and it had sat up for a couple years. The case also had an abundunce of oil in it. Not sure if that was an intentional storage "pi...
