Re: One of these things is not like the other

Nice. I've been thinking about picking up an Express. They seem to go for pretty cheap on CL.

Re: Found out what is slower than a Spree...

Dude, have you ever had the jug off of it to check for carbon build up in the exhaust port? Another consideration is that your pipe has a lot of carbon build up in it? Maybe it is time to have yourself a little bonfire. Are you mechanically inclined at all? Even if your not we can still walk you th...

Re: Found out what is slower than a Spree...

WOW. Thats the last time I make an ignorant post on this forum. I've done some research and have a better understanding of the octane rating now. So yeah... if I understand what I've been told and what I've read, then octane will not effect my power. Changing the oil in my truck could be considered ...

Found out what is slower than a Spree...

...a Spree with regular in the tank.

I did this completely on accident and will NEVER make that mistake again!

Re: What honda is this

Ct200, ancestor of the ct90 and ct110. I listed a non-running, no title ct90 on cl last month for $80 and it went fast.

Re: New Guy, just bought a Spree Special...is it rare?

From what I've read on the intertubes, the Special was the exact same as a regular Spree but with the sweet paint job and cost a few extra bucks when new. Only made in '86.

Wow. So why can't we get a Japanese scooter or motorcycle for less than $900 (or even $2000 for that matter) these days?

Re: Coffee delivery vehicle spree

Nice. I was thinking of rigging up the same sort of system in order to mount a bicycle handelbar bag since I don't have a glove box.

...and not to get too far off topic here, but what are those tires you've got there? They look chunky.

That sounds easy enough. I'll give it a shot some time this week. Thanks!

Weird fuel gauge on my Spree.

When I got my '86 Spree, the fuel gauge was stuck on full. I just accepted the fact that it was broken and learned to live with it. This morning I started it up and the gauge moved to empty, even though there was a small amount of fuel in the tank. I just filled it up after work and now it shows jus...

I'm a son of a Deadhead.
...but I've only recently started to apreciate them. Having them forced upon me during my angsty youth turned me off for the longest time.

Wow! 48,000 kilometers. I hope to get that out of my Spree.
Is there anything special I should be doing to mine since it has "higher mileage"?

Re: Honda PCX

Looks cool, but I'm sure it'll be over priced... just like everything else Honda sells these days ($3800 for a Nighthawk? Please....) Glad to hear the ÔÇ£idling stop systemÔÇØ won't be on US models though, to be put on a scooter seems like a waste of technology .

Re: High mileage.

Yeah... I'm talking mileage as in "odometer". I'm getting close to 8,000 and wondering if that is high for a Spree.
