1984 Yamaha RX50???
I have the chance to get one of these for DIRT cheap. Does anyone know anything about them. Its a full size bike, with a 50cc engine and a 4 speed is what ive been told.

problem solved! Used a different gauge, and i have 40psi for compression. Well that explains a lot. I just ordered another piston for the bore kit that was destroyed, so this is on hold until then.

Ok cleaned the carb, and it hasnt made any difference. Im out of ideas.....

honestly..... no. I didnt. I assumed that it was ok as it came off a running bike. I did however have it on my front seat to the scooter store yesterday. Will clean and report back....

I can tell ya that 85 is lean for break in. I would go with a 90 at least......

Ok, i checked the plug, its right. I sealed the entire intake, and i made sure the air box had a good seal, new filter. i started it up, and i still have the same problem. it wont run if i give it more than 1/3 of gas. Im so frustrated. i want to drop round two of the polina kit on, but not if i can...

so I installed the engine that i received from bandit today into my elite. At first i couldn't get it to start at all. I checked for spark, fuel and compression, and everything was good. I just added small nuts on the back of the carb. it seems to work fine, i had no problems

help wiring 87 elite engine into 89 frame
I just got everything installed on my engine that i got from bandit. however i noticed the engine doesnt plug into the frames plug. so, what wires go where?

I brought mine to a local machine shop. He cleaned up the minor head damage i had, and bored it to the size i needed, all for $20 bucks.
