Good point, but they seemed really strong when I was putting my weight on the ratchet to snug it. I'll keep an eye on it, and if this belt shreds too, then I'll know what's up. Thanks bear. :)

I know this is old, but simply wished to add to it from experience. I also had issues with putting on the drive belt, and didn't get the drive face on the crank splines all the way, and trashed the threads. I got a 10mm-1.25 die from Ace Hardware, and got the nut of the same size from Autozone, and ...

Er, yeah, that is not the head gasket, but the cylinder base gasket. My bad!

Yes, I thought perhaps if I included my original scan, then it could be downloaded and printed out, but it seems this is not the case? Bummer.
