Only runs "good" with the choke on

Ok, so I get the moped out of the shop the other day because the guy didn't have time to work on it. It was there for 3 months, and he didn't have time to work on it?!? Anyway, I start her up now with the choke on, and let her warm up some. With the choke on she runs fine. Kinda boggy for a few revv...

Re: ****Official Picture Post****

Why would they put it on that side tho, that's your throttle hand. If it was on the other side it seems like it would be easier access. :blah:

UP4200ST or UP4200AST (UNI FILTER CONTENT)

(UNI FILTER) I thought it was the UP4200ST (straight) that fit, but I vaguely remember seeing the UP4200AST (45 degree) as being the one I needed. Can someone verify this? I just ordered the straight one and want to make sure that is the right one. I have an 87 Elite with a 28mm oko carb. Thanks guys.

Re: (SMS)...Sleeper Moped Society

I don't know. Part of the reason it took soo long is because the wife of the guy saw the paint and was sure I wanted the piping orange, but I told him red, because red is pretty universal, and if I wanted to sell this one I could. So he waited to talk to me to get me what I wanted. Elites came stock...

900' above sea level jet?

Ok, so I bought this af18e motor, and with a little choke it starts right up. But as soon as I throttle up it bogs and dies. If I leave the choke engaged just a little it seems to howl. Question is: is my jet (with Hawaii's 0' elevation) making a difference in my 900' above sea level elevation? Am I...
