figured since its done, and has been down the track a few times i'd post up a few pics of how we built this monster. bike runs around 60mph at low 10 second passes in the 1/8 and little over 70mph in the 1/4. stock internals, race fuel motor, with variator tuning. http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums...

old red was build for racing, doesnt flex anymore, engine flex the frame and shes good to go now.

The neck on the triple clamp is the same length and diameter. The only thing needed is two of the top bearings, cups and races from a Metro. You might be able to reuse the races in the Elite but I replaced them anyway. The bottom Metro race is too big. The second top race and bearing from the Metro...
