What do the 44 and 48mms up the cc's to? Also, I was wondering if these little engines respond to mild port work?

I was saving up money to buy an 85 or 86 (how ever long it took to save the money) before my parents put the kabosh on that idea. They were $495 in 1985 or 1986, thats what the dealer price tag was. Thanks for the info! So basically you have the stock cylinder bored to accomidate the larger piston? Also, does the Spree use a centrifugal clutch since there is no CVT? I am still doing tons of reading and research so sorry for the newb questions.
