Just get a dremmel tool if u don't have one and grind out where the washer used to be and make it as big and smooth as possible but don't cut thru the pipe and make sure there is still enough for the exhaust to seal with the bore. Use that same dremmel and try to make ur intake larger and intake par...

stock carb and exaust?
jet size?
when you grab more that 1/4 throttle does she sound like she is throaty or deeper before she dies? like to much fuel not enough air? grab a new air filter or a aftermarket airfilter.

what kind of springs? the big spring in my clutch is a 1,500 and i believe that my 3 smaller springs are 2,000 springs i believe.

Ok I grab full throttle she flies up to 47mph on flat. But if I bak off throttle 1/8 she is quieter and stays at 47ish. She doesn't sound like the main. Jet is adding to much fuel but idk why else she would maintain the same speed. 48/100 jets 10gram rollers 9.1 gears v8 exhaust. Should I go down to...

ill just take it to a shop where they have a 10,000lbs press and have them put it on its so quick and easy like 5 mins and they are done. last time the guy said dont worry about it so it was free! :) and this way i wont burn myself. Why would a shop have a wimp press? I have a 40,000 pounder and it...

Thanks for all the info. With winter here, I'm starting to tear into this scooter. Odometer has rolled over so I know there are allot of miles on it. Having a blast working on it. Just wish the shop was a little warmer. i know how you feel. I wish i could heat my garage with out spendin lots of $$$...

may have grabbed a hand full of throttle for 10 seconds or so and easily reached 50mph not sure if i can go faster seems thats where it started to top out. have 9.1 gears in now and have 8.4's just need pressed on.
