And yes go back to the lighter Honda front end... we run stock spree front brakes with no issues and we run a couple of the fastest scoots there

I hope you didnt get the red mill in the picture... I had the manual version for awhile... d*** thing had plastic gears!! Blew out a few sets before I sold it and bought something nicer.

Dont overlook the belt condition.. worn rollers... torque spring condition and torque driver pins and grooves and check for free movement in the torque driver.

Doing cranks isnt really that hard... you need a press and some fixtures (u can make em) a couple of V blocks and a pair of dial indicators, feeler guages and a soft hammer... copper is material of choice. Im sure there are videos out there of it being done. I used to do dirt bike cranks all the tim...

Had a great time this weekend racing with the guys at Northern MI drag way.... finally got some quality tuning time with the scoot and knocked off a half second. Think theres still a few more tenths to find but its time to break out the new motor.

Changing out a rod isnt too hard if you have the equipment and the skill to true it back up. Changing the rod length doesnt affect the stroke.

Finished... made two passes at the strip went 9.68 @ 70.3 with a horrible 2.5 60ft time. With a few more passes to learn how to launch it should be a low 9 second scoot.. not bad for a bunch of stuff we tossed together
