need jetting help!!
i just need a idea of where i should be at for jetting, just put the pglong on yesterday, did a few 1/2 throttle plug chops and plug is grey... dont even want to attempt WOT chops till i get pilot figured out.. anyone have any suggestions?? thanks

i have a larger rear pully from a 139qmb 4-stroke motor. everything fits except it is longer due to the fact it had a 19mm belt on it... it started grinding away at the case i even made a spacer for it out of a washer, and started grinding away at that, then hit the case again. my ? is this is not a...

in my case, i just went to honda for parts... it was a pantera dirt bike... found out bajamotorsorts.com sold everything for it (parts where more than from honda) but they called it something else.. look for other bikes that look the same and go from there... google man its amazing...

i had a 50cc dirt bike couldnt find parts for.... turned out it was a honda replica motor and suzuki plastics... after that could get every part i needed... do some research on it... those things are either Frankensteins or replicas....

the funny thing is the 48 is the jet that came in the carb... ok ill get some bigger jets to try... thanks for the help The jets that come in the carb are a compromise at best. if your running a 48 pilot in a 28mm carb, its running lean down low so that will include your 1/2 throttle area. you should be running at least a 52 pilot if not 55. being that your make shift cht gauge is not quick enough, Im bet its not accurate either because 220 is pretty much a idle temp for ...

yes like i said its make shift temp gauge it doesnt respond as fast as a true cht would but it gives cruising speeds...

compression is at 145 i believe.... im runnning 93 octane 32:1bakaracer wrote:sure sounds like its heat seizing to me. the setup your running, if the compression is to high, it will run hot.

what does your oil gauge read when these problems occur? :smile: What does your plug look like? Does this problem not happen if you go wot or just part throttle? gauge reads about 210 spikes to about 260 at stop lights... plug looks pretty good not perfect yet, still playing with jetting and tunnin...

Your problem will be that unless the component is hot it will likely test good.

ive pretty much had every problem, you can think of with my 50mm bbk... i even went as far as getting a mini stroker, made a huge difference. the cylinder opens the ports all the way now... not saying thats what you need, but its a option... problems i ran into ct intake came loose in back under fan...

Running out of fuel is not like turning off the ignition key. The key kills it now, fuel starvation is a sputter-sputter type thing. No, too much power draw on the battery will not cause this.
