Re: four corner scoring on piston

Ah yes "four corner" piston scoring/seizure. Usually what causes a piston to get like that is improper warm up of the motor. Accelerating too fast when engine is cold causes piston to expand faster than the cylinder. Make sure your engine is good and warm before ripping on it. :thumbwink:...

There is also a naraku brand bore you can get from scootertronics. how do you find the brands and specs for these kits? ive looked at all of these places ebay sellers dont list anything but the size bore (except daywott), jiangwayne was a ruima bore with a crappy ...

Re: 52mm bbk

Yeah if you bore the 50 to a 51 your going to be fine. You can also look for a 48mm bore too. As ruima, yeah they were done a while ago. All the parts that's being sold or that was bought from them were left overs. Dio parts in general are going to be hard to get since these motors were last made in...

Re: 52mm bbk

51 is already thin walled for stock stroke motors. I would ask Carlos(autotech355) and make sure its for a 41.4mm-44.1mm stroke. The 52 and up size pistons I know about is for 50mm cranks and up. thanks bakka, i never heard of the 52mm thats why i wanted to ask... i think ill just get a new kit for...

Re: So I went and ruined my engine case.

put some penetrating oil on there. center punch then start w/ 1/16th drill pit and work your way up next 1/8 so and so on till you can get the proper easy out in there.. use a SHORT WHRENCH with easy out, they are easy to break. try a thread chaser, if not got some heli coils and retap larger. red l...

Re: ZX trans how-to
