Re: compression test help!!!

How do you crank a bolt or nut to any number PSI??? Maybe foot/pounds or Newton Meters or Kilograms/Meters But never PSI. PSI is what compression is read in. I would suspect that head and or the jug are not flat. there you go bear all fixed up for ya, i was typing that in a hurry with a screaming 6...

Re: piston ring help!!!

The hexagonal ring goes under the 2nd ring from the top of the piston. Check the widths of the rings; sometimes the rings are different thicknesses which can tell u which is top and which is bottom. Hope this helps. J i checked the sizes and the 2 rings have a 1mm thickness and the hexagonal 1 is a...

piston ring help!!!

i have a 50mm bbk from jiangwayne. Im not sure what kind it is, but im guessing its a Ruima, because the bag the rings came in says Ruima on it other than that there is no markings of brand or manufacturer on it. Re: Budget Build Carb ?'s

So i will try going to 112 with one and try another stepping up to 125, in the area that veedubh20 says they sell. Just for clarification, Daytona is a tuning company that sells a jet kit. Not sure if you were going to scour Daytona Beach for moped parts ;) As far as CHT gauges go, everyone I know ...

Re: Budget Build Carb ?'s

Greetings: DayWOT on eBay and others (JiangWayne.com, methinks...) sell a Daytona jet kit that has machined jets in sizes up to 105. If you purchase a set of indexing bits from Harbor Freight and a digital caliper, you can enlarge your current stock jets to whatever size you wish - the number refer...

Re: Budget Build Carb ?'s

With your 100 main how does the plug look? You know how to do plug checks? Its breaking in anyways, so your main jet mainly controls your top speed which you should not be testing out until after break in. Save your money and get a carb that has more adjustments, like pilot jet, different needle ch...
