Great...My next question is where can I get these gears and how fast can I get them!!!

Thank you all for your input! By tuning the variator do yo umean getting the wieghts right? And I do want to put different gears in it but do not own a press...is a press required or is it fairly easy to swap. If I can get 50 with just jets and taller gears Ill be happy

My bottom end is ok right now. 0-17 is real fast...then a little slower to 28-29...then creeps up to 36-37, probably takes close to 1/4 mile to reach top speed.

Thank you CB900...I will begin shopping for new pipes! I am using stock belt. I think it has stock everything from the spark plug and belt to the gears and pipe.

Hey guys...I have a 1994 Honda Elite S. I just bought it for a hundrd bucks. I threw a new carb on it and derestricted it. I also threw a ruckus variator with 7 g wieghts in it on. Any ideas on how to improve top end with out gears or bore kits??? Would a stiffer clutch spring help with top end speed.

Hi everyone. I Recently bought a 1994 honda elite S for a hundred dollars!! It wasnt running when I bought it but just had to put a new carb on it. I then went through and derestricted it and put a Ruckus variator on it and a new air filter. I am about 6 foot and 235 lbs. I top out at about 36 or 37...
