Re: AF16E Spree swap, summer project!
Alright well turns out the cops over here are real picky little screwballs and wont let me ride the thing again unless i can quiet it down  Sooo i know putting the stock pipe on a corsa will choke it and it wont perfrom well at all. So my thinking is to down grade and get a contessa kit which c...

Re: CHT Temps, what are yours?
Alright well after a break from the frustrating thing i dove into today to find the problem. After pulling the carb out, cleaning it, and putting it back in the moped ran for circa 3 seconds. However, once the gas filled the float chamber it died and i couldnt get it started again. So i tore it down...

Re: CHT Temps, what are yours?
42 is the next smallest jet i have.
Bear, I thought you said it was too rich. So wouldnt dropping a jet size help? And if it is a float level issue im not even sure how to go about fixing that. Im surprised it would be a float level thing, the carb is practically brand new.

Re: CHT Temps, what are yours?
Okay now it wont stay running for more than about 10 seconds. It will hardly start unless the a/f screw is in all the way  And i do see premix exiting the exhuast, got a small puddle of it on the ground right beneath the end of the exhaust pipe. I do have one of those new b8hs plugs in there....

Re: CHT Temps, what are yours?
Alright I'll look for that ground tomoro but I believe it's the jetting. Sorry, I am not doing true plug chops. Just riding it into my garage, killing it, and pulling the plug. The plug is black. I don't know how you tell the difference from a rich plug vs a fouled plug. The idle just seems to bog. ...

Re: honda elite 50 destroyed rollers

Re: honda elite 50 destroyed rollers
Honda put that in there to help the rollers "roll". But all it does it make them flat spot easier. Remove all the grease, and remove the backing plate( the part with the screws in it) on the variator and you"ll be all set  I would get new stock weights if your old rollers ha...

Re: CHT Temps, what are yours?
Alright well i did another plug chop because the same "rough riding" symptoms appeared again. The electrode and the arm above it are both pitch black. So im guessing i jetted too rich. Im at a 45, 120. The a/f screw is approx. 2 turns out. So do i try to adjust the a/f screw or do i lower ...
