Re: Budget Build Carb ?'s
Okay thanks. Im just looking for something that is real simple and cheap. What i was thinkin about doing is using the screw-in threaded mirror mounts on the handlebars as mounts for a CHT gauge on the left and a tach on the right

Re: Budget Build Carb ?'s
Is there a place anyone would recommend getting a CHT gauge from?
Ive only skimmed around online and it seems the standard gauge goes from 140-340 degrees F
Will this be enough to cover the range of a Spree with a 48bbk, 21mm OKO, 2.75-10 tires, taz gears, taz exhaust?

Got the new cable in and installed
Just waiting on the new tires from Honda coming in on tuesday and then after break i cant start in on the pulley mod.
Still designing that CT spacer out of one piece of aluminum, we'll see how that one turns out

Re: Stuck brake cable wont move an inch, ideas?
Yeah i literally used a syringe with a needle on the end of it to suck up oil and get it inside the sheath. It didn't come out the other end so then i did the same thing with industrial degreaser. No luck still. Calling and ordering a new cable from honda today

Stuck brake cable wont move an inch, ideas?
The front brake cable on my Spree doesnt move at all. Ive tried flushing it with a little 3 in 1, but it would even go down the sheath. Then i went and got some industrial degreaser and tried to get it down in the sheath with a sharinge and needle. I did that a couple of times and still no movement ...

The Iowa Spree is only able to achieve a top speed of close to 25mph
The regular Spree does right around 30mph as its top speed
