Re: Hey Guys, Long time no see!! Whats up?

D to UI is a popular choice. You should call the U when selecting courses to check transfer equivalency. Ask "how/what" it will transfer as. All courses will transfer up to an hour limit but core requirements might not. EG. A history course at D might transfer as an elective instead of be...

But my plan was to go to the Univerty of Iowa for an engineering degree Now that plan is either to miss the first semester of get a full on recovery and do a half first year at a communi college close to home. We'll see what happens. At 18 I didn't think you could g...

Re: Hey Guys, Long time no see!! Whats up?

Nah I wasn't. Turns out its genetic, thanks mom :eyeroll: I have a fractured vertabrae and that is genetic, but the pain isn't coming just from there. So they are going to fix the fracture and fuse it to the vertabrae below it. Hopefully that will give me my life back, because right now I cant walk ...

Re: How rusty is too rusty

Just an FYI: I read in another forum that some scooters/carburetors don't like inline fuel filters because they can cause issues. Keep that in mind if you decide to use one. On my scoot I have two inline filters installed. My gas tank also had a ton of rust in it after sitting for 20+ years with a ...

Re: Cylinder Head running too hot 350-360

Again thanks for all the replies. When the Caster 927 comes in I'll post the temp. results in comparison to the Honda GN2 for heat reduction. It looks like I need to set my target high temps in a higher range. I'm seeing up to 400. I've read that above 350 is the danger zone. Any comments on proble...

Re: Cylinder Head running too hot 350-360

I would like to run no higher than 300 degrees. suther1707 Unfortunately that Polini bore lives above 300F. If you want your temps to be no higher than 300F at WOT you wont do it with an air cooled elite with a 72cc engine on it. You could go water cooled but thats $$. 350-360 isn't bad at 1/2 thro...

Re: Cylinder Head running too hot 350-360

read a while back on the forum that using maxima castor 927 oil lowered someones engine temps by 30 degrees. what type oil you using? That'd by my CHT temps  That 927 stuff is great. I used the GN2 a while too and its too thin for a 72cc bore. Put thicker oil in. Youre temps will drop and...

Re: Sym dd w/ hona dio engine i need help please!

The SEF ramp plate is one of the easiest performance mods you can do. Or if you want to you can swap out the entire variator. You already have a big bore on it and i'm assuming you did that install yourself. Installing a new variator is a heck of a lot eaiser and will increase your performance throu...

Idk, it could still be big.

My 21mm runs the 40-42 pilots well with the needle clip on the top notch.

Have you adjusted you needle clip position at all?

Re: Motor mount help

If you have access to a welder you could take some washers that share the same diameter with the bolts and weld those onto the ends of your mount. You might have to shave of a little on either side of the tubes before you weld them on to get back t the same over-all length but thats the simpliest fi...
