thanks guys, i was thinking about doing a big bore kit but i won't do that until next year. im not really looking to hit 45, i was just curious if there was any way to give it some extra zip. doing a constant 32 mph gets kinda boring.

cheap performance

what are some cheap, effective, worth while modifications that can be done to a stock 50cc honda spree to make it get closer to reaching the 45mph mark? or maybe some ways to just get it up to speed quicker?

maybe the auto-bystarter(i think that's what honda calls it) is not working properly. maybe try unplugging it and see if it starts easier.

what type of oil would i run in the tranny of my 85 spree? would it be 10w 40 like in the metropolitan? or something thicker?

i didn't think it would be that easy but if that's all it takes, sweet. Installing the parts is easy, finding the parts at a decent price is the hard part.
