just a quick question before i buy the wrong thing if i get the ruckus variator will the electric start still work, do i use the ruck's gear face or the the aero's

i get what your saying about more power to run the taller gear but my bike is redlining or rev limiting on flat ground and itd be nice to get some fuel economy because every road is 35mph and im doing my best stay at 35+ like i said i live around a lot of hills that i go up and Down alot so i would ...

ya i kind a thought about it and the variator is probly the best bet since i dont want to lose any power, so will the ruckus variator give a bigger increase in speed than the keli since it sounds alot larger

ya thanks turtle, any one know which is a cheaper way to go faster changing the final drive gears or the variator, and i think some one said i could mod the case to run dio gears?

ya sadly my pipe catastrophically failed it definitely turned out to be a topend pipe and all the welds failed and started leaking after like 2 mins of riding, oh well double thanks to whoever suggested campfiring the stock exhaust it gave me so much bottom end i feel stupid for messing up that dirt...

well bear i guess it will be at the least a fun expirement if it ends in failure and i have been looking around on the web and it seems that a long thin header = bottomend, short wide header = topend, and a long wide header = midrange, so far i have a long thin header which should be low rpm power a...

sounds good if you could post a pic thatd be great, hey guys im about 50% done making my exhaust pipe! i got the expansion chamber from a "ktm 65?" rearranged and tacked up and now i just need to make her air tight, weld it to the stock header and pack a silencer

ok id be very interested in seeing that adapter, and i was kinda wondering my scoot has 1900 miles as of tonight, any one think i should pull the head and check how things are goin in there and maybe do some porting?

ya i just read the 1985 and it was vague, the 1984 was better and yikes it was completely dry, do you think i hurt it i took it for like a 3 or 4 mile drive today

hey im trying to change the tranny fluid and i cant seem to find any screws that drain the oil that or my tranny is completely dry :surprise:

ok read the manual and found the vin# guess i have the worthless 1985 model :| oh well i think id like to keep the stock bore tell i need a rebuild it but id like to either get that variator, different gears, or an exhaust ya know just something that gives it more power without giving up speed/topen...

is daywot his ebay name, and i still dunno where the vin# is im starting to suspect it doesnt have one, on the tank it say model NB50M and i think it has the newer instrument panel, and it has an emissions sticker says 1985, the guy wrote the number on the bil of sale but i dont know where i put it.

hey all im new to the forum and am having trouble finding aftermarket parts for the aero and need some help learning what parts from the spree and elite will fit my aero, not sure if i have the 84 or 85 aero if it matters where is the vin# located?

put the tranny back together just cleaned up some of the belt dust, i drilled out the main jet not sure what size but less than a #90, then i cleaned up the welds in the exhaust, seems to run fine but i havent rode it yet its raining like *, so are there any other BIG mods for the aero besides the jet
