Re: 2001 honda elite 50 sr starting problem, (video)
yes you can use the kick start for all these tests just makes it a little trickier, when checking compression your finger must be firmly sealing the plug hole, if the air is not strong enough to push ur finger off the hole and escape past, your motor probably wont have enough compression to run yes ...

Re: 2001 honda elite 50 sr starting problem, (video)
check for spark and compression unscrew the sparkplug put ur finger firmly against the sparkplug hole and use the electric start to turn the motor over the compression should be strong enough to push air past ur finger, if it does that then plug the spark plug back in to the plug boot and see if it ...

Re: high idle /run away on aero 50
well got a filter on it and put a rubber band and some sealant on the bystarter which helped alot but its not helping much really cause when i go over like 1/4 throttle the dang thing shoots a ton of fuel out the front of the carb which either kills it or make it rev up

Re: high idle /run away on aero 50
throttle cable is in right and the slide seats fully, i do have the air box just the lid/cover piece is missing im thinking it must be the by-starter leaking since theres no o-ring, ive ran plenty of two strokes without their airboxes usually it makes them gutless

Re: Dio gear case oil?
FYI 80w90 is sulfur based and corrosive to certain metals, that in itself could be the sole reason that honda decided not to use it in their scoots
