aloha i recently installed a TWH rotor kit on my sym dd50. stock carb/manifold ruima 44 ministroke crank 8.74 gears sito plus exhaust was expecting more out of it i guess. bike was already running good so just bolted on rotor kit to see if it would give me even better performance. can feel the engin...

there are special "slim" crankshaft bearings that are used with this crank.
if you use the stock bearings the case will not close and seal together.
i have slim bearings for sale if you need a set.

i was wondering how your build was going.

did you do any block porting? i know my SYM has a mini boost port and really small intake ports.

Should fit! Honda bearings and seals. Dd case is smaller on intake, transfer n boost port. Can be ported! 72cc is a perfect size on Dd only n af16/18... does anyone know if the crankshafts and bearings are interchangeable? i need to install a new crank and was wondering if the honda bearings would fit.
and if the case metal is not as good wouldn't that mean its easier to port than the AF16?

was changin my spark plug today and while i was twisting the throttle i seen my oil pump moving... i have the SYM with the cable controlled pump. cant figure out why its loose. all the bolts are tight but the metal piece that goes through the oil pump to hold it in place can move around. the bolt th...

just a heads up.. with my polini contesta, oko variator, jetted carb, uni .. my setup hit 60 and ran out of space... my boy has a built aprilia with a speedo that goes upwards of 60 and he matched me... so it's gotta be pretty accurate... by the way it's still the stock carb.. and about 7900 rpm.. ...

probably need to put heli coils in place of stripped threads. Even if the torque wrench clicks at 8. Since it won't click at 10 the threads are pretty much gone, and will probably give you problems down the road.. don't know if drilling and tapping to a 1/4x28 would work or not. .what is that? how ...
