Question for Tapatalk Users

Tapatalk has proved to be an incredibly user friendly app that provides great ease of access to this site for me in the past, but I haven't used it in a while and it looks like that it has had some serious changes and for some reason, I can't get any of my previous forums back on the app. Would anyo...

Re: The Daily Chat

Alright guys, as you know, I bought a 2000 Suzuki DR200SE not too long ago, but have yet to find any good finds at decent prices to allow me to get back into the scooter scene. My DR is my commuter, but I also use my bicycle quite frequently as well. I had been off of my DR for a couple weeks and we...

The Daily Chat

Ended up picking it up for $1600 which is still a little high but it's in nearly new shape. Just one scratch and missing a mirror. Overall I'm pleased with it. Rode it about 30miles to make it home and was pleased with its performance. I am excited to get it out of the city and in the mountains when...

The Daily Chat

Well chaps, I finally may have found a steed to get me around the PNW. It's not a scoot, but it will be my commuter and only mode of transportation for a while. It's a 2000 suzuki DR200 that is in seemingly phenomenal condition both aesthetically and mechanically and only sports 2,200 miles. The ask...

What kind of Helmet should I wear?

I have a modular and I really liked it with my elite. But with my spree I wore a 3/4.

9:1 gears set

You can put them on with the stock bore and they will do fine but it won't be very whippy on acceleration. As for with the kit, you will probably be fine to use them but depending on the kit, you may want something a little taller. Don't forget to upjet!

Pacific Northwest Area

Alright, my next question doesn't have to do much with Seattle but more so how to get there. I will be leaving around the 3rd or 4th of January, so my question, if anyone could help me from experience, is what is the best route across the Rockies in the winter and what type of chains should I buy if...

Well I'm pretty bummed

Will do. I will be moving there in the beginning of January. It may be a little while before I find another trusty steed to be able to ride with you WA riders because I have no source of income yet as my internship is unpaid and I need to focus on just getting by at first but it will happen!!

Technology thread!

Well no, you sure can't. Haha. I wouldn't mind getting service for free but I have to pay a pretty penny for it. It seems AT&T is slowly trying to $cr─Öw over their customers.

Technology thread!

I know that it's completely unrelated to scooter but I'm curious as to what everyone is thinking about technology these days, in specific, the iPhone 5. Who all is getting it and on what carrier? I hear AT&T is trying to screw over those of us who are grandfathered in. I, personally am thinking ...

What is true... to have car fuel injectors cleaned or not?

I have found that mechanic garages are turning into a bunch of crooks. You can go in for an oil change and come out with them telling you your carburetor belt needs cleaned (I am well aware this is not a part) for $600. I personally run injector cleaner through my gas every 4-5 tanks and do as much ...

Well I'm pretty bummed

I wasn't in town when we got hit, but I made it back that night. It was terrible but luckily we had very few casualties in light of all the destruction. We have rebuilt a ton but it's kind of tapered off a bit. I'm excited to be in a new place and I think I'll love Seattle as well.
