Maybe it only ran beacause you had air leaking in from your exhaust port

Does stacking base gaskets have anything to do with the exhaust flange not fitting properly? Your plug shouldn't be white with those huge jets and I'm surprised your bike even ran at all

If your jetting skills aren't up to par then don't waste money on a expensive bore. Get another ruima and get the jetting right. If your doing your plug chops right then the wwhite plug should have been a red flag telling you somethings not right. You need to start with the needle in the mid and mov...

Very nice bike bro I wish my plastics looked nice like yours. Where did the side skirts go those are a must. Those scorpion pipes are almost as common as v8 pipes over here. I sold mine cause the v8 is better for wheelies

My malossi cast iron is the way to go unless you plan on using the mhr for race. Aluminum bores suck that's why vt doesn't sell them anymore

There is also a small tube with a flanged end where the carb bolts to the intake mani. It restricts air and gas going to reeds.

Buy a aftermarket cooling fan. Vt cycles sells them. It won't help a lot but it helps somewhat. Up your jets a size or two and start with the clip in the middle and move it down one notch at time.
