Yamaha Jog 50 Compatibility question '86 Vs '01

Anyone know if an OEM basket on a '86 Jog will fit on the '01 Jog? Both have the 3 bolts (triangle) but the front panel/styling is different. Thanks a bunch in advance! (I did check the service manuals and they do not show the distance between the screws) Or if you know of another way to figure this...

Re: Criagslist...

murphy's law as I sold my pristine '82 Yamaha Virago (2200 miles) last summer for $1350. this year it might have sold for $1800 quickly with all the other posts to compare.... I think that is the problem though. People go to see what their bike is selling for and think, "mine is much better th...

Re: Criagslist...

amen
I have a friend seeking a good used cruiser 450-650cc (eg magna, maxima, virago, etc) but the prices are just silly.

Re: Which if any of these compression test kits?

Guys please don't laugh that I am still a little confused (I'm just a visual learner). So should i just buy this? as it has a 14m adapter? http://www.harborfreight.com/quick-connect-compression-tester-95187.html and then just not tighten it, but have a good seal while being careful of the O ring? lo...

Which if any of these compression test kits?

In ignorant hindsight, I should have had one with me this morning when buying a scoot <sigh>, never again. Will any of these kits work? if not, what one would be recommended? http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=compression I think this one - http://www.harborfreight.com/quick-connect...

Re: Found 01 kymco cobra

google kymco forums and ask the members there about parts, etc.
very helpful (not as many members though...)

I plan to go by my local shop regarding my People 50 so let me know if you want me to check on anything for you.
(this shop is one of four and they do have a decent selection of used parts)

Jump on that...
27000 kilometers = 16800 miles

$200? no brainer, * offer $150 but take the $200 with you...

wish I lived close...

Parts should NOT be an issue.
