Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

So with say a 72cc Polini kit and bigger carb jet what else would I need to safely run the scooter? I know I will need a pipe and some trans/clutch work but are those things that could hold off or do I need to do all of it at the same time? I feel like I'm missing something and I'm new to scooters a...

Lol I was a mile from home had a friend swing thru and pick me and the scooter up... Embarrassing

I didnt get the factory airbox with it.. All it came with was a UNI filter and I was waiting on the jets to come in the mail but who knows how long the kid rode it really leaned out because it only made it a total of 6 miles with me on it..

So the Elite me its maker today. The sweltering heat and running a bit too lean melted the piston I'm sure... I'll tear it down when i get a chance and post pics but for now I'm looking into Big Bore Kits but I'm not sure what else I need to run a Big bore kit I'm sure i will need a set of carb jets...

The previous owner did all the work so far.. I think the only thing I am keeping is the bamboo floor I am going to do some work on getting it cleaned up.

P.S. All the graphic work was all done with sharpies... the kid I bought it from was an artist.

Thanks for the insight... Unfortunately, I'm about 750 miles from my scooter for a week as my Grandmother passed away in Alabama. I really wish I had my scooter down here so I could tear up some of these beautiful backroads

Thanks for the help man, Sounds like I really need to look into gears.. any specific brand I should look into? Seperate question-- The previous owner put a foam filter on it similar to a UNI Filter and now it seems like its getting too much air and it cuts out pretty bad. Jet the carb up? What size ...
