Where can I find this?

Does anyone know of any site/ place where I can find body parts for a 1986 Elite Deluxe? I don't care what condition they're in, I just need them.

It does have a title. A salvage title, but a title nonetheless.

Re: Update! It's an Elite 150 apparently.

Looks like front end damage with the angle of the forks. How many parts are still available? That $100 bike could easily turn into a $600 bike to get on the road again and even more to make it look good. Everything works on it. It rides fine. Get's up to speed, but now that the rings aren't good, h...

Re: Update! It's an Elite 150 apparently.

I saw on the front it did say Elite Deluxe. It is wrecked, there are hardly any plastics on it. And it needs rings. But for $100 it may be a fair deal. A few of the plastics are off, but I think there isn't much more than that. Here's a pic. http://i1198.photobucket.com/albums/aa446/adios1344/2011-0...

Re: Update! It's an Elite 150 apparently.

Check the oil level. That is a 4t scooter. What year is it? What is a 4t scooter? 4 stroke The Elite 150 was made in 1985 and 1987, while the Elite 150 D or Deluxe was made in 1985 and 1986 How can I tell whether or not it's a D? I'm hoping to check it out tomorrow after work. VIN number I thought ...

Update! It's an Elite 150 apparently.

Hello, My friend told me that he wants to get rid of his Honda Elite 250. I know nothing about the year, and have never seen it. All I know is that it needs new rings, and that it's not in great condition. Is there anything I should know? Also I am picking it up for $100-$150. Update: Apparently it'...

Re: Fuel on the fuel lines?

Do you have some sort of clamp on the hose connections. And of course the ever present, a bad piece of hose. Yes, I had radiator clamps/hose clamps (You know the thing with the screw). However, I was tightening those and a part of the petcock broke off of the actual petcock, and left the part in th...

Fuel on the fuel lines?

I installed a new petcock, re-installed the fuel lines, and started smelling gas. Looked down and there was gas on the fuel lines (mostly on the lower/vacuum line) Any help as to why this is happening is appreciated

Re: 1986 Spree restoration

Gah, fml. Now after reinstalling new petcock, replacing fuel lines, replacing all fluids, no dice. Not even turn over. I'm not too worried about that, I hardly tried to start it. However, I started smelling gas, so I inspected the bike, and there was fresh fuel on the gas lines (Mostly on the vacuum...

Re: 1986 Spree restoration

Greetings: Deepinnaharta Honda charges $45.56 for the '86 Spree petcock too. The good part is they can get it in on the next day's truck if it's in warehouse, and they don't charge any shipping. A crafty guy can finagle hardware store plumbing parts into a half-assed petcock substitute. Fuel LineFi...

Re: 1986 Spree restoration

Greetings: For water to be flowing out the vacuum port on the petcock, the diaphragm must be torn or dissolved by Toilet cleaner. There is an o-ring in the assembly, but it seals around the white plastic screen - from memory. There really isn't an internal o-ring that can be accessed in the Spree/E...

Re: 1986 Spree restoration

Wow. I feel dumb. After procrastinating for a long time, I filled the tank up (off the bike of course) with toilet bowl cleaner and it sizzled and smoked, and it cleared the tanks gunk right up. This really wasn't a bad idea, so don't post on it being one. But after rinsing the tank out (put hose in...
