Fair Price for 84 Aero 80?

This Aero 80 is in really good condition, all stock. It has less than 1000 miles on it. What would a reasonable price be?

It may have been mentioned somewhere in these forums already, but i didnt find it with my search. Does anyone know if there is a gates belt that could replace the stock 1984 Aero NB50M belt? Or should I just find an OEM one?

Re: Any Alternative to an Air FIlter?

Although Bear and Spreetard are both correct, it is probably best to use the stock filter, if you did do the plug chop correctly and you have a good mixture without the filter, you could try this one http://store03.prostores.com/servlet/georgefixsmotorcycleparts/the-995/1-MB5-DT50-RD50/Detail . But ...

Re: Identify this scooter?

Definitely not too similar to an early aero50, those have the turn signals on the luggage racks, both front and rear. Although motor scooter guide does say that the aero50 was released other places with the "Melody" name, looks more like the late ones, but i dont have one to compare. Does ...

Rattling Aero80

So ive read a few topics about rattling, and really hope mine isnt experiencing the "death rattle", so im looking for some input. I recently picked up a 1983 Aero 80. It was missing the variator, clutch and belt so all i could check was that the engine ran well (without any load whatsoever...

Re: Fixing Up an 83 Aero 50

OK, here goes: You are better off with the stock air filter. Part number 17205-GE8-000 from Honda, about $4 to $8 depending on your dealer. Remount the stock air properly and it will not fall off. With the stock air filter and air cleaner in place run an 85 main jet. I have no clue what would be ne...

Re: Fixing Up an 83 Aero 50

FYI, you made your scooter run worse without rejetting and are taking a chance of seizing the motor from being too lean. These things are not 4 stroke car engines that don't really care, these are high tuned and designed from the opening in the air box to the outlet of the exhaust as a system. You ...

Fixing Up an 83 Aero 50

I have had a 1983 Aero 50 for a couple years now and im trying to fix it up a bit, does anyone know if the lock cylinders from an 85 would fit this one, i know they changed a lot on the 85 model. Also, I replaced the stock air filter with a cone one from here: http://store03.prostores.com/servlet/ge...

Re: Clogged Idle Jet

I know this thread has been dead for a long time, but i wanted to share my experience for anyone else like me scouring the net for assistance. After an epic 2 day battle with my Aero 50's (NB50M) carburetor I have finally cleared all the jets. It is correct that the idle jet beside the main jet can ...
