Re: shock problem
You could use a couple of washers and a bolt to slide it in. That's what I do. Light oil helps but you have to cut the sides of the washers down a bit to clear the case or you will for sure break it. Michael, if you haven't ordered it yet, I have one just pm me. Pick up only, no delivery.

Re: 2000 Honda Elite SA50P Project
Nice looking scoots both of them. Looks in good shape, except for the rat damage. Always love the banana yellow but I really dig the black look. I have two black ones, both '01s, had to abandon my yellow '00 'cause of a bad frame. Very popular scooters where I live, gone on craigslist within hours w...

Re: 2000 Honda Elite SA50P Project
Welcome jaesun, I'd probably tape up those bare wires if they are gonna be hold'in juice. Previous owner may have had it apart and lost the roller, if you shoot me a PM I could send you an extra one I have. May also have a 78 jet laying around if you find that you only have a 68 in the carb now. Goo...

Re: 2001 Elite SA50 Mod Upgrade, Jetting Help
Welcome andy, there is this ebay site I have bought from, I think he has a kit of jets for stock SA50 carburetor. Fast shipping and good prices. Good luck with the new scoot! Also can try honda but you need part #'s I think. Click on link to Daywot' site: http://stores.ebay.com/daywot Happy Trails! ...

I think you should learn to have some patience first, and then maybe someone would help you. You just posted this same thread 6 minutes ago! Get a hold of yourself man.

Don't mean to sound sarcastic but after reading this I'm reminded of a song by the rolling stones. Looks nice, I want to do that to my ride but never have time. Good job! Thanks for the pics and Happy Trails!

Re: I'm going crazy. Losing spark when hitting bumps/pitch d
Hey Ben, so maybe it works. Hope so bro. If not, do you have another carb to swap? Those oko's are cheap knock offs of the keihins, could it be a bad unit? I use an oko and I don't understand why there's no instructions or anything to help you, just say'in, but I had trouble getting it to work right...

Re: gear setup
305, how goes it. The deal for me is this: I love the power, and it's there, but I had to consider the whole package. i.e. what I am willing to do to maintain the set up, what conditions am I riding in, what kind of reliability am I going to get out of the set up, and so on. So for me, just me, I us...

Re: Hi everyone! Glad to find this site!
Welcome Tony. Wish I had your good fortune, but apparently I don't. Old scooters that need lots of work are about all I've come across in the last several years. But they have taught me alot so I'm glad about that, and if I were to ever find a "pristine" scooter like what you are describin...

Re: stretched elite/spree
Yea, I bought from them. Had to return for refund. Parts were listed for a dio but were for other dio than ours. Proceed with caution, especially engine parts. Shipping is a killer, not to mention the conversion to yen. I would personally have someone weld one up for me from a stock motor mount. :ro...

Re: Aero 50 rear turn signal lights being weird after spark
LPH, do you have a known working turn signal flasher you could replace yours with, maybe from another scooter? I believe the dash and headlights work off of the alternator. Everything else I believe runs off of the battery. Maybe Bear can help you with this. Good Luck to you. Happy Trails!
