I had that problem many years ago but it wasnt a possum it was a cat and it wasnt a near miss it was a direct hit the cat was fine i wasnt had a nasty deep gash from my elbow to shoulder a big crack im my helmet (lucky i was wearing it) my rugged little spree still bears the marks of that faithfull ...

It aint that hard heat one of the ends of the spring and bend the end around more makeing the spring shorter and trim off what u bent round so u can hook it on to the clutch i just keep on bending it so the new spring is the same length as the stock spring fitted them up and it works mint I did this...

My af27 jap dio has the af18 in it and with the restrictor taken off the back of the vari it does 45 easy with a high speed pulley kit and a wider belt it almost does 50 the rest of the bike is stock so if u can get parts from japan then go for the AF18E the carbs also have a changeable pilot jet so...

It says its for a dj1r with the afo5e and that it adds 5-15kmh top speed i guess by that its a high end power type exhaust im thimwnking of getting one should work better than the modified pipe i hav now just want all the best parts here ready befor i start putting it together

Ill be running a similar setup but doing some case porting and running a 21mm oko and ct intake got all the parts just havent got round to putting it together yet oh and mine will be in a DJ1

If u have a few needles to play with use some fine sand paper and reshape the end we used to do this on 2 stroke racing go karts to get the fine tuning right
