We the first batch of parts is now done. Word of advise, don't buy Rustoleum clear for plastic. When i used it, it dissolved the black paint. Luckily it was only one part. Its been repainted since. I have started filling in the scratches in the rear fenders. Also have some paint issues to deal with ...

Well I've had to put my painting on hold for a day or two. I've got a nasty cold and cant seem to shake it. here are a few update pictures though of the bike stripped down to make up for the delay

Absolutely! For now I'm just painting these parts. Once those are done, I'll start working on the rest of the plastic pieces. Except for the piece that cover's the back part of the frame. its right below the brake light housing. its in perfect shape so I've decided to just leave it as is.

I have been using all rustoleum products and i have to say that i am really impressed. I personally hate laquer paint. I dont like how it covers and the fact that it only works with itself. acrylic paint is more durable and covers alot better. but thats just my opinion

my process has been sanding everything down with 220 grit wet dry. painting with 2 coats of primer sanding between each coat. then painting 1 coat of black and sanding that with 3000 grit wet. then the final coat of black and two coats of clear. Alot of work but its all worth it.

Done with the first base coat. They came out AMAZING. I'm really impressed with this paint. first coat with no sanding or polishing and its almost a mirror finish. Probably going to start sanding today then lay down the second coat. after that its on to clear coat. i know clear over gloss paint is k...

rattle cans. i have all the equipment for spraying. I just didnt want to invest $100 or more in paint. you can get just as good results out of a can than a gun. its all in how you prep.

Honda gyro repainting
Just a little documentation of the process I'm going through to repaint my gyro. i figured this would be a good learning experience for me to help with perfecting my painting skills. any advice or opinions are welcome.

are any of these pistons dished like the gyro's piston? also will the fact that some are oversized make a difference, like, will i have to do any modification the the jug like overbore?

I need a new piston cause mine just got ruined. my piston ring broke and it scared my piston pretty badly. If anyone has one they would like to sell, please PM me about it. If there are alternatives or after market pistons i can use, please tell. thanks

i have a serious problem. my gyro wont start and i dont know why. i have tried everything. i was riding down the street, and i heard a loud pop. i thought it was a backfire. but when i throttled up i had no power. it still ran but i no power. and now it wont start. i dont know if i blew a ring or so...

well i broke my throttle cable a few days ago. just got my new one in. local honda shop built me a completly new one. for $56.10......dang
