sorry, brain lapse there. i meant to say, does the gyro use the same throttle cable as any other scooters?

does anyone know if the gyro uses the same throttle cable as the gyro. mine just snapped.

I am planning on redoing my gyro during this upcoming winter. I want to paint on candy orange and have white wheels. Do you think that doing something like this would decrease the value of the scooter as apposed to restoring it and going completely original?

Been a while since an update on progress with the suntach. Any news on what would be needed to make it work with the gyro?

I am more of a visual guy myself. I have a hard time picture how to do something when some one puts it in words. Could you post some cloe ups of how you hooked the gyro up to the sun tach. Sorry for the inconvienence.

The gyro is slow for a reason. It has a two speed as you know. Because of this, the transmission can only go so fast. Im not sure if understand this right. After looking at all of your data, is it possible to hook up the sun tach and just use one of the setting that comes on it without having to modify anything?

i am really impressed with what you have achieved with your sunpro. i just cant wait to put one on my gyro! that thing will look sweet in my gauge setup.

the only thing i am worried about, is that if i do stretch the rear part of the suspension unit, is that i will need a bigger shock. is it possible to get an aftermarket shock or do you think the original will work?

Do you think it is possible to stretch a gyro the same as you could a ruckus. I think it would be cool to make the arm longer but i dont want to make it to long, maybe add 3 to 5 inches of length of the back end.
