battery is brand new so its not the battery...

well my 83 aero usually starts right up. its bone stock nothing done to the motor or anything ... my electric start has never worked. today i ohmed out the bystarter it read 5.5 and everything looks okay. when i go to start it (hold in the brake and start) it just clicks once... and if i do it again...

well first thing is first... i bought an 83 nb50 for 50 dollars. everything was there but not in the best shape motor has around 450 miles on it (speedo cable snapped). i got it no running so i tore it apart everything looked well motor wise. i through a new plug in it and fired it up after 20-30 ki...

sorry to bring this thread back from the dead... but i just picked up an 83 aero 50. i removed the oil pump and used the washer plug idea and some black rtv sealer and a clip to hold it firm. i put a vacuum nipple over the throttle body outlet and i removed all the oil assembly any ways im wondering...
