Re: What is the model code of my scoot?

Many thanks kind sir! :2thumbs:
I shall dig out the numbers for you in the near future, and a PM ye shall receive.
It's much preferable to have it rego'd by it's 50 code than by model name. (Especially if I ever need to play muscial number plates again!)

What is the model code of my scoot?

Hey, I have a honda eve PAX 50cc scooter. I've been riding it around for almost a year using the number plate and rego off my nq50. I had a wee brush with the law a few weeks back, where he tried to tell me my scooter needed a WOF. (Warrant of fitness) And I told him that (In New Zealand) bikes unde...

Re: short skid vid.

What do you mean? Actually my father in law is an unholsterer. He did a really nice job of my NQ50. So it's on the cards to get it done. I found the side covers for it yesterday too. So at some point it'll be getting a respray too. It actually only done about 1000 miles from new. It bought int...

can someone do me a small favour?

I'm planning to buy some parts to freshen up a couple of Nq50 motors off a US based honda parts company. They have a website, (which I prefer not to use) and a toll free number. Being off shore, I can't call that. Can one of you kind fellows please ring 8667671835 (toll free) and ask them if they ha...

good idea, bad idea?

would it be a smart move to machine material from the bottom of the jug where it bolts up to the crankcase, to raise the deck height of the piston and increase compression? Or is there some pitfall in doing this?

if you have a closer look, it lists more than one number for the same size ring. The OS rings are listed below.
So I'll be all good if I just order the part which superceeds the old one?

which part should I order???

I'm getting set to order some parts online to freshen up a couple of NQ50 engines that I have. BUT, if you look at the parts listing for the rings, http://www.hondaparts-direct.com/fiche_section_detail.asp?section=152966&category=Scooters&make=Honda&year=1986&fveh=3555 it shows two d...
