update for those with similar issues. cleaned everything i could see with carb cleaner. The most noticable spots that I had issues with were the exhaust which i cleaned out with bottle brushes and carb cleaner and the area near the sparkplus which looked like it had been doused in carmel. Getting it ready to sell quick questions.

So i sat on my scoot for almost a year before putting it up for sale. I'm lucky enough to be able to sell for a profit right now of about 150 bucks. I got it running last night but not yet ride-worthy. If I could record the sound it makes im sure I could narrow it down for ya but as for now im at wo...

I actually got mine back. The guy that stole it couldn't get it started so the cop recovered it a few days later. keep asking around with the cops. One of these days a cop will see the scooter and remember to check the plate.

keep hoping.

(aka its constantly giving gas) which may be the problem that caused the leaking. How might i fix this? EDIT: updated, ok i got t...

I ended up completely removing the bottom screw like BMX said. it didn't exactly rush out so I thought m...

I had a similar problem that manifetested itself as a blinker that got quicker as I reved it and slowed to nothing at idle. As it turned out one of the wires that was supposed to be connected to the positive (red) battery terminal was corroded and had bascily split so that only a little juice was ge...

need to plan out my attack of repairs

Hey all. Some of you may remember my whole story from about a year ago. My spree started running badly because i had been putting the wrong kind of oil into it. After I started to use the right oil it ran even worse. Took it to the shop a couple of times and after it came out it ran, you guesed it, ...
