I can just dump some oil right in that bolthole that I took out? What oil should I put in there?

I meant to say oil came out.

I took out the oil drain plug on the same side of the belt and pop came out? What does this mean? Should I add more? Where at?

How can I see if there is oil in the rear trans case? And if there isnt how can I put any in? And what kinda oil do I use? Please give me step by step directions on how to do this?
