I need a belt cuase my old one borke and i dont want to pay 40 for a new one is ther an alternative i can get at like napa or auto zone . and what size would it be.

Yes it sounds like your carb does need to be cleaned. If you go to the technical doucuments, it has a forum that will tell you step by step how to clean your carb and that should help you.

mines a whole differnt story. ive tried everythng to get tht nut off. sat ont he bike held the break and had a screw driver locking at and i would jump on the wrench and still nuthing with me.

also when you take the exhaust off, put the piston at bdc and get a flashlight and see if the port is not clogged. if i would have done that it would be runing perfect right now, but i messed up and now i got tons of problems.

ok, i got everything stripped off of the rear and th floor panel. I have most of the rust sandied off, or should i sand the hole thing. And how many coats fo primer should i use and how many coats of base color should i do.

i shaved it, i think i no what ur thinking i might have shaved it crooked ill get a leverer and level it to see if i did but when you take all the pulleys off you can notice that it is bent its also bent on the other side to. i dont get it

mines doing the same exact thing if i plug the vacuum im guiessing on the back of the carb it will idle but when i hit the gas it dies like tht so i gues sil try a new jet isnt the stock size 65

mines doing the same thingexcept mines not th hard to crank it just idles up and down. i cleaned the carb and it didnt do it then the next day i cranked it up and and did the same thing it stared going up and downat a high rpm.

the by starter is broken the stem that was on it broke off, but i thought i read that tht didnt matter as long as it was not leaking
