Re: Honda Aero nb50 to nh125 Swap Project
Stripped the rest of parts off the Aero frame and boxed everything up. I made a stand out of wood to do the swap, keeps the frame level and I don't have to worry about it falling over. http://i766.photobucket.com/albums/xx310/Rabbitfcker/Honda%20Aero%20Swap/DSC05992.jpg http://i766.photobucket.com/a...

Re: Honda Aero nb50 to nh125 Swap Project
Greetings: Beautiful work so far. Do you plan to add the piece that connects to the frame ? That triangulation over the Roll axis is pretty important methinks to prevent racking resisted by welded sheet alone. Also to prohibit up/down engine pitch and instability. Thanks! My plan is to weld a piece...

Re: Honda Aero nb50 to nh125 Swap Project
Dont forget a bump stop, im not sure why they are there but I know they keep the wheel from going too far down. Maybe to keep it from folding under. ^^yup you need that little foot that goes in the frame for some reason. Nice mount man, you should make some extra, just in case you can sell one. Loo...

Re: Honda Aero nb50 to nh125 Swap Project
Started on the motor mount. I cut the nh125 mount down to match length of the stock 50 mount where it bolts to the frame, removed all the brackets. Made my own pieces between the tubes, this should allow me to align the engine. http://i766.photobucket.com/albums/xx310/Rabbitfcker/Honda%20Aero%20Swap...

Re: Honda Aero nb50 to nh125 Swap Project
I'm leaning towards using parts of the nh125 mount, just the tubes the bolts goes through. Then make my own metal piece between the tubes, getting the angle I want will probably be challenging. The mount location on the nh125 is in a tight spot, between the starter and oil pump which might limit the...

I sometimes use engine brite...Just spray it on..wait..and hose it off Its toxic as heII but very effective. Yeah a couple...

First test fit of the nh125, swap looks doable. http://i766.photobucket.com/albums/xx310/Rabbitfcker/Honda%20Aero%20Swap/DSC05938.jpg http://i766.photobucket.com/albums/xx310/Rabbitfcker/Honda%20Aero%20Swap/DSC05940.jpg http://i766.photobucket.com/albums/xx310/Rabbitfcker/Honda%20Aero%20Swap/DSC0593...
