Re: Jetting down procedure?

Re: Sym dd50 build!!

now take a compression test. remember that kit your using is a 12.5to-14to1 compression ratio kit. if the compression is higher than 125psi, add a head gasket maybe 2 if need to. adding the head gasket adds volume to the top half to lower the compression ratio for you to be able to run that motor o...

Re: Jetting down procedure?

the bike seems to run no matter what jets i put in the carb. also i can completely remove the fuel screw and the bike will still idle (no matter what jets are in there).

Re: biggest jets for 28oko

yup plug shows dark brown (looks very rich) i think maybe air leak someplace because i can remove the air/fuel screw while the bike is at idle and it wont shut off (just keeps idling)... air leak would explain the overheat. I used 2 bottles carb cleaner on the manifold and entire cylinder with the s...

Re: Effectivity of light port work?

Is polishing really that detrimental to the air/fuel charge or does that only apply to the inside the crank case? Polishing causes fuel mixture to stick to the surface like mist on your bathroom mirror. You want the mixture to stay mixed and make its way to the combustion chamber. so polishing inta...

Best mount for Spree Dio swap?

anyone have a preferred "year" mount to use when doing a dio swap to the spree.

I have a Af16 motor and a mount from a 1996.

I heard that an 87 mount works better?

I know that after 87 the motor changed so mounts are different after that.

just checking before I cut my OEM motor mount.
