It sure sounds like your drain screw is either open or missing all together.

I would replace the brake cable and also put new brake shoes on while your at it. Its not that hard to do . Even when everything is new these little bikes do not have the greatest stopping power. Thats why they are only meant to go around 30 miles per hour.

Yeah if your gonna get a new one don't bother waisting your time on those cheap scooters in the 700 to 900 range. You get what you pay for.

125 bucks. The person that sold it to me said the muffler was shot and had oil leak.
When I got it home I found the muffler was not attatched tightly to manifold. A few turns of the nuts and that was fixed.
The oil leak was a cracked oil line by the oil pump.
Cheap fix. Been running great ever since.

I like the eton beamer matrix about 1800 to 2000 bucks
Comes with nice storage compartment in back and high performance
exhaust . Nice big 12" tires and looks mean and cool. Does about 45 miles per hour with the performance exhaust and is still a 49cc engine.

Perhaps your float inside the carb is taking a dive. Is it cracked or a small hole in it. Could just be time for another carb cleaning.
I would also check your throttle cable and throttle needle to make sure they are operating smoothly and not jamming up.

I don't believe there is any way to adjust the oil flow. I think the oil pump just does the correct amount if it is working properly. If I am wrong someone out there chime in and let us know how to do it.

If gas is not being delivered to the carb it has to be either the vacuum tube, fuel valve, kinked or clogged fuel line, or obstruction in gas tank.
How about a plugged fuel cap vent? Maybe? If all of these check out its got me stumped.

Go ahead and try that first. I agree. Always try the easiest solution first.
But if that doesn't solve the problem I am also thinking your drive belt might have broke and wedged inside your kickstarter assembly.

I read your post again and you said kickstarter wont go down. You will definitely have to take the kickstart cover off and see what is jammed in there. I completely removed my kickstarter because the kickstarter shaft end was stripped . I just use the electric start. If your pinion gear is wedged ti...

As far as your spree just dying as you drove it could be several things. 1 Thats what mine did when spark plug wire jarred loose. 2 Could be your carb is plugged with a little particle of dirt or debris. 3 Could possibly be a bad or dirty plug. You also say you can"t kickstart it and makes a fu...

happened to me several times. I checked the most obvious first and i was right. The spark plug wire was not seated all the way on the plug. You said this happened right after you rolled over a pot hole. It could have jarred the plug wire loose. Always check the simplest answer to the problem first b...

IT SOUNDS LIKE IT MAY NOT BE GETTING GAS TO THE CARB IF IT ONLY STARTS WITH STARTING FLUID. YOUR FUEL VALVE MIGHT BE SHOT OR PLUGGED. COULD BE YOUR VACUUM TUBE IS PLUGGED OR NOT WORKING. DISCONNECT yOUR GAS LINE AND VACUUM TUBE FROM THE CARB. SUCK ON VACUUM TUBE AND SEE IF GAS COMES OUT OF GAS LINE.

Yes it should keep the battery charged up while it is running. Sounds like your homemade switch is causing a continuous drain on the battery.
I would look in the manual under the wiring diagrams and hook it up correctly.
